Come and shimmy with us under the Caribbean sky, cooled by gentle sea breezes for an exquisite 8 - day, 7- night retreat in the hills of Tobago, offering spectacular views of the Caribbean sea, lush scenery and fresh, delicious, nutritious cuisine prepared especially with you in mind. This is clearly a holiday with a twist; Bellydance classes, a retreat and a wonderful adventure!
You can set your pace during the time you spend with us; after all this is your time.
Bellydancing classes will take place daily in the natural surroundings and 6-acre grounds of this spectacular property, dotted with mango groves. Tai chi classes will be available most mornings and siestas are built into our time.
The retreat begins 25th/26thAugust 2010*, our beautiful accommodation will be in light, airy rooms on the crest of the property next to the pool or individual eco-luxe cabanas. Our self contained villa, which will house just ourselves and is built upon 6 acres of mango groves and lush greenery will enchant you with it’s cool Caribbean breezes, hummingbirds and private patio, hammocks and pool just for ourselves!
Rooms accommodate 2 people, but if you are coming with friends our cabanas can accommodate up to 4 people. Each well appointed room has ensuite facilities and most come with a private patio or balcony, some complete with hammocks for pure relaxation, Tobago style...
Included in this retreat are:
- 7 nights beautiful 5- star eco friendly accommodation with private patio/balcony
- All meals are included and be expertly prepared by our ‘on-call’ chef, except for one free day and an evening out.
- All transfers and accommodation related to the itinerary
- Airport transfers in Tobago
- Over 10 hours belly dance classes
- One private lesson per room
- A range of activities & trips on/off site, including the infamously exuberant ‘Sunday Skool’ island party
- A drumming class
- Trip to an art gallery and tea house
- Yoga, Qi kung, Tai chi and meditation classes

For ‘Earlybird’ Bookings before 28th February 2010 you’ll receive a £100 discount against the standard price of the retreat. Current Empress Bellydance students will save a further £100 on the price of their holiday. Flights are excluded.

A non-refundable deposit of £199 will be accepted to secure your holiday. Payment for the retreat is by cash or cheque. Payments will be accepted by debit/credit card through paypal, but a surcharge will apply. Payments can be accepted in instalments, please contact me for more details. On receipt of a deposit you will be sent a booking form, sample itinerary and receipt. Final payment is due by the end of May 2010.
Prices do not include flights, which must be booked separately. Prices at this time of year are usually in the region of £450, please see note below and contact me for further information/guidance.
* Holiday start date is dependant on flight preferences of the majority of those travelling, a charter flight comes to the Island on Wednesdays (25th August start) or scheduled flights operated by BA and Virgin Atlantic arrive on Thursdays (26th August start). Please state your preference when booking.
